I received a copy of the Twisted Hate from the author and GiveMeBooksPR for a fair and honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

He hates her…almost as much as he wants her.

Gorgeous, cocky, and fast on his way to becoming a hotshot doctor, Josh Chen has never met a woman he couldn’t charm—except for Jules f**king Ambrose.

The beautiful redhead has been a thorn in his side since they met, but she also consumes his thoughts in a way no woman ever has.

When their animosity explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that’ll get her out of his system once and for all: an enemies with benefits arrangement with simple rules.

No jealousy.

No strings attached.

And absolutely no falling in love.

Outgoing and ambitious, Jules Ambrose is a former party girl who’s focused on one thing: passing the attorney’s bar exam.

The last thing she needs is to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable…no matter how good-looking he is.

But the more she gets to know him, the more she realizes there’s more than meets the eye to the man she’s hated for so long.

Her best friend’s brother.

Her nemesis.

And her only salvation.

Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they’re faced with truths that could either save them …or destroy everything they’ve worked for.

I’ve been waiting for this instalment of the Twisted series by Ana Huang since I first read Twisted Love and Twisted Games (and I eagerly awaiting Twisted Lies). In this book we follow young, hot shot doctor, Josh – older brother of the heroine from the first book – and his sister’s best friend, Jules. Both are ambitious, hot-tempered and can’t stand one another at the beginning of this book, but this acrimonious relationship leads to a spark that neither can deny. When Jules’ past catches up to her she needs to rely on the one person who she never thought she could trust – Josh.
Oh, boy. This book couple has chemistry and steam in SPADES, and it takes for their initial dislike and animosity towards each other to fade to genuine feelings for the other. Enemies to lovers is a favourite trope of mine, and this one handles it beautifully, keeping up the tension for the majority of the book and forcing the characters to question their relationship and themselves.  Ever since book one I’ve been waiting to read their story, and Ana Huang did not disappoint. This book definitely stepped up the banter and the steam level from previous books as well.
Pick this up if you like contemporary enemies to lovers stories with an alpha male lead and female protagonist who gives as good as she gets.

Ana Huang is an author of primarily steamy New Adult and contemporary romance. Her books contain diverse characters and emotional, sometimes twisty roads toward HEAs (with plenty of banter and spice sprinkled in). Besides reading and writing, Ana loves traveling, is obsessed with hot chocolate, and has multiple relationships with fictional boyfriends.
