Hello, planner friends!
It’s no secret that I’m a BIG Alice in Wonderland fan – I think it’s a really magical concept of being to step out of the every day world into one full of magic and mystery. (Not that I’d necessarily go to Wonderland, but portal fantasies are some of my favourite things to read and watch.) I loved it so much I designed my classroom in 2018 around a Wonderland theme.
Anna’s Alice in Plannerland sticker kit is one that I admit I’ve been hoarding. I love the gorgeous illustrations and colour scheme. It makes me so happy to look at it. But my on-going goal is to trust myself that using up something that makes me happy is valuing it’s worth rather than holding on to it until that ‘mysterious’ day when it will be used perfectly. When I choose to use my planner stickers, I’m very rarely disappointed with the outcome anymore. I’ve let go of the confines of ‘perfect’ expectations, and just let it become an opportunity to get creative and just play.
Play is such an important part of human lives, which I don’t think we spend enough time on, so it’s some of my most treasured time to play in my planner.
